JWELD is a welding deformation analysis software that combines a unique solver developed based on the inherent strain analysis solver JWRIAN, created at the Institute of Joining Science, with a Japanese-language user interface. It is capable of calculating not only large structures like hull panels but also thin-walled structures such as piping. The optimization feature automatically generates welding sequences that reduce deformation. JWELD is a production technology analysis platform that allows for the analysis of complex production processes such as joining, assembly and finishing, and heat treatment on a computer.
